When checking the rear window defogger switch operation, select a vehicle type and menu.

Select "Instrument panel module (IPM)".

Select option "Current Data".

To check the input value of rear window defogger switch in force mode, select option "Actuation Test".

※ Above voltage and numerical value may be different from the real value.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the audio head unit.

(Refer to the audio system - Removal/Installation)

Remove the heater control unit (B) including the rear window defogger switch (A).

Disconnect the heater control unit connector (A).

Install the heater control unit.

Install the audio head unit.
