Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

Has a problem been found?

	▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Left Turn Signal Lamp Circuit Inspection" procedure.

IG "OFF", disconnect battery (-) terminal.

Disconnect FAM connector.

Measure resistance between the Left turn signal lamp terminal of FAM harness connector and ground of the left turn signal lamp.

Is the measured resistance within specification?

	▶ Substitute with a known - good FAM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the FAM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Repair open in circuit of Left Turn Signal Lamp or Left Turn Signal Lamp internal open, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
