Check the condition of SAS zero point adjustment by driving the vehicle to right-turn and left-turn at least one time.
Line up wheels like Figure 1.
Perform the wheel alignment.
Line up the wheel in a straight.
Drive the vehicle ahead and back 2~3 times without holding steering wheel.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Perform steering angle sensor calibration.(Figure 2)
Disconnect scantool.
Check the condition of SAS zero point adjustment by driving the vehicle to right-turn and left-turn at least one time.
Is the calibration(zero point adjustment) completed?
 | ▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Substitute with a known-good Steering Angle Sensor/ HECU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace Steering Angle Sensor/ HECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
