Monitor Scantool Data

Connect scantool to data link connector(DLC)

2.

Engine "ON" .

3.

Monitor the "I/C SOLENOID" parameter on the scantool.

4.

Select "D RANGE" and Operate the vehicle.

5.

Check "I/C SOLENOID" parameter value changes while driving.

Specification : Changeable correspondence with each gear postion

Fig 1) "P" range

Fig 2) "R" range

Fig 3) "N" range

Fig 4) 1st gear in "D" range

Fig 5) 2nd gear in "D" range

Fig 6) 3rd gear in "D" range

Fig 7) 4th gear in "D" range

Does the "Shift Control Solenoid Valve" follow the reference data ?

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or PCM/TCM's connector or was repaired and PCM/TCM memory was not cleared. Throughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage.Repair or replace as necessary and go to "verification of vehicle repair" procedure.
