■ "Oil temperature sensor" Inspection
1.

Ignition off.

2.

Disconnected Oil temperature sensor connector.

3.

Measure the resistance across the two terminals of the Oil Temperature sensor.

Specification : See blow Oil temperature sensor specification table

Is the measured resistance within specifications?

▶ Go to "PCM/TCM Inspection" procedure.

▶ Replace Oil temperature sensor as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Ignition off & Engine Off.

6.

Connect Oil temperature sensor connector.

7.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC) and select Simulation mode.

8.

Input 0 -> 5 vlotage at Oil temperature sensor signal line by simulation mode and Monitoring Oil temperature sensor.

※ It is subject to change vehicle condition.

9.

Is measured Oil temperature sensor value changed by input voltage?

▶ Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Substitute with a known-good PCM/TCM and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace PCM/TCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
