Connect scantool to data link connector(DLC).
Engine "ON".
Monitor the "INPUT SPEED SENSOR" parameter on the scan tool.
Drive the vehicle.

Is "Input speed sensor" output value within normal range ?
 | ▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or PCM/TCM's connector or was repaired and PCM/TCM memory was not cleared. Throughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage.Repair or replace as necessary and go to "verification of vehicle repair" procedure. |
