Has a problem been found?
 | ▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Go to "Rear Wiper Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Has a problem been found?
| ▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
| ▶ Go to "Rear Wiper Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
IG "ON"
Measure the rear wiper motor position signal voltage of RAM.
Specification: Park signal voltage
- Wiper working: Approx. 12V
- Wiper stop at park position: Approx. 0V
Is the signal output normal?
| ▶ Substitute with a known - good FAM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the FAM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
| ▶ Check open or short in circuit of rear wiper position singnal. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
