After removing the control cable nut (A), remove the shift cable in the 'F' direction by pulling the clib (B) on the floor.
Tightening torque :
9 ~ 13 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 Ib-ft)
Remove the center console.
(Refer to "interior(Console)" in BD group)

After removing the control cable nut (A), remove the shift cable in the 'F' direction by pulling the clib (B) on the floor.
Tightening torque :
9 ~ 13 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.1 Ib-ft)
Disconnect the sport mode connector (A).
Remove the shift lever assembly (B) by removing the four bolts (A).
Tightening torque :
9 ~ 14 N.m (5.0 ~ 6.5 kgf.m, 36.1 ~ 47 Ib-ft)
Disconnect the shift cable assembly (A).
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Insert the shift cable to the bracket and hold it with a new clip.
Align the manual lever hole to the hole on the transmission case and hold the position with a bar.
Eliminate shift cable free play of the shift cable.
Firmly hold the special bolt with a spaner and tighten the nut with the specified torque.
Tightening torque :
13 ~ 16 N.m (1.3 ~ 1.6 kgf.m, 9.40 ~ 11.57 lb-ft)
Take off the bar holding the manual lever.
Shifting the each position, check that the shift lever moves smoothly.
