Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Disconnect the Inhibitor swtich connector.
Ignition KEY "ON"" & Engine "OFF".
Measure voltge between supplied power and ground at inhibitor circuit.
Specification : Approx. 12V
Connect the Inhibitor switch connector.
Ignition KEY "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Measure voltages between each terminal and chassis ground during shift lever changed "P, R, N, D".
Specification : See below "Signal Code Table"

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the shift cable (A).
Remove the manual control lever (D) after removing a nut (C).
Remove the inhibitor switch assembly (F) after removing the bolts (E).
Tightening torque:
[C] 16.7 ~ 25.5 N.m (1.7 ~ 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 ~ 18.8 lb-ft)
[E] 9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Assembly the control lever (G) after seeting hole (H) aligning.
