1.
Disconnect the negative cable(A) from the battery.
Disconnect the negative cable(A) from the battery.
Remove the LH engine mounting bracket nut (A).
Tightening torque :
88.3 ~ 107.9 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.1 ~ 79.6 lb-ft)
Lift up the engine assembly slightly by using a jack to get access to the side of engine.
Remove the engine support bracket (A) and the starter protector (B).
Tightening torque :
(A) 49.0 ~ 63.7 N.m (5.0 ~ 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 ~ 47.0 lb-ft)
(B) 0.9 ~ 1.4 N.m (8.8 ~ 13.7 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
Disconnect the starter cable (A) from the B terminal on the solenoid, and the connector (B) from the S terminal, and then remove the wiring protector.
Remove the starter (A)..
Tightening torque :
49.0 ~ 63.7 N.m (5.0 ~ 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 ~ 47.0 lb-ft)
Installation is reverse order of removal.
