Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the crash pad side cover.

Remove the crash pad lower panel (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

(Refer to Body group - "Crash pad")

Disconnect the connectors (A).

Remove the lower crash pad switch assembly (A) by using a suitable trim removal tool after loosening the screws.

Remove the rheostat from lower crash pad switch assembly.

Check for intensity of new rheostat switch. If the light intensity of the lamps changes smoothly without any flickering when the rheostat is turned, it can be assumed that the rheostat is normal.
