Ignition "OFF".

2.

Disconnect both connector to left/right actuators and connect right wiring to left actuator.

3.

IGN ON, then try EPB apply/release several times to see whether the same DTC happens for right side.

Does same DTC occurs for right side? (C2224)

▶ Substitute with a known-good EPB actuator and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace EPB actuator and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Pperform "Actuation Control - Apply/Release" on the "Actuation Test" with GDS.

▶ Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and Control Module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
