Component Inspection

Check Electric EGR solenoid valve resistance

IG KEY "OFF", ENGINE "OFF".

(2)

Disconnect Electric EGR control valve.

(3)

Measure the resistance between power and control terminal of EGR actuator connector (component side).

Specification : 8.0 ± 0.5 Ω (20℃)

Is EElectric EGR control valve component resistance within the specification?

	▶ Go to "Check Potentiometer resistance" procedure.
	▶ Replace EElectric EGR control valve and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".

IG KEY "OFF", ENGINE "OFF".

Disconnect Electric EGR control valve.

(3)

Measure the resistance between power and ground terminal of EGR actuator connector (component side).

Specification : 4KΩ ± 40% (20℃)

Is EElectric EGR control valve component resistance within the specification?

	▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
	▶ Replace EElectric EGR control valve and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
