The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is used to add the exhaust gas to intake air in order to reduce an excess of air and the temperature in the combustion chamber.
The Electrical EGR valve consists of the solenoid valve and position sensor which detects the position of the electric EGR valve.
The Electric EGR valve is controlled by ECM’s duty control signal depending on engine load and the need of intake air and is operated by solenoid valve not vacuum valve.
