1.
Rotating counter-clockwise shift lever knob (A).
Rotating counter-clockwise shift lever knob (A).
Lift the gear boots (A).
Remove the floor Interior console assembly.

Remove the air duct (A).
Remove the cover (A).
Remove the select cable (B) by removing the snap pin (A).
Remove the shift cable (B) after removing the clip (A).
Remove the cable guide (A) from lever assembly after pulling in the direction of the arrow.
Remove the shift lever assembly (B) by removing the bolts (A-4ea).
Tightening torque:
8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
When installing, set room side shift lever and T/M side lever to "3rd" position.
Install the snap pin of select cable after adjust the select cable when install the select cable.
(Refer to Control Cable - " Select cable adjustment")
Install the boots (A), spring (B) and knob (C) from the lever assembly.
Check operating of lever of T/M side when operating shift lever after assembly.
When shift lever to "R" position, check the position of "skirt".
When lever is shifted to each position, if stop occur between two position, re-adjust select cable.
