Remove the engine cover.
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust Manifold System - "Air Cleaner")
Remove the engine wire harness connectors and wire harness clamps from cylinder head and the intake manifold.
isconnect the oil control valve(OCV) connector (A) and alternator connector (B).
Disconnect the air conditioning compressor connector (C).
Remove the ignition coil harness mounting bolts (D).
Disconnect the MAP sensor connector (F) and the knock sensor bracket (E).
Disconnect the electronic throttle control (ETC) connector (A).
Disconnect the vapor hose (B).
Loosen the throttle body fixed bolts (C).
Tightening torque :
9.8 ~ 11.8N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7lb-ft)
Remove the filler neck assembly (A).
Tightening torque :
6.9 ~ 10.8 N.m (0.7 ~ 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 ~ 8.0 Ib-ft)
Remove the oil level gauge assembly.
(Refer to Lubrication System - "Oil Level Gauge & Pipe")
Remove the intake manifold (A).
Tightening torque :
18.6 ~ 23.5N.m (1.9 ~ 2.4kgf.m, 13.7 ~ 17.4lb-ft)
When installing, replace with new gaskets.
When installing the intake manifold, tighten the Bolts & nuts with pre-torque first and then tighten the Bolts & nuts with specified torque in the sequence shown.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
