▶ Check for poor connection between Gear Switch and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Substitute with a known-good EPB ECU and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace EPB ECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ If EPB ECU is replaced, perform "Variant coding", "G-Sensor Calibration" in the "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS.

▶ When EPB switch is activated, check "Current Left/Right" value is changing.

▶ Substitute with a known-good Gear Switch and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace Gear Switch and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
