Component Inspection
1.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

Engine "ON" and Head lamp "ON".

3.

Clear the DTC.

4.

Ignition "OFF".

5.

Engine "ON" and Head lamp "ON".

6.

Connect GDS and selet "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode and Read "DTC Status" parameter.

7.

Is the DTC B1622 present ?

▶ Substitute with a known - good ECU and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECU and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or AFLS ECU's connector or was repaired and AFLS ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.

* REFERENCE*

"Download to correct parameter" on the "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS. When AFLS ECU replace.

* Vehicle condition

8.

Park at lever land

9.

Vehicle speed ≤ 5km/h

10.

Engine r.p.m > 500rpm

11.

Connect GDS

12.

CAN communication is normal status

13.

Battery voltage > 10.5V

14.

Headlamp S/W ON, AFLS ON

① Parameter Download

② Calibration

③ Clear "DTC"

④ Confirm the Headlamp movement through the "Actuation Test".
