Check for the continuity beteween each termianl of starter relay.
Specification : Refer to table below.

Ignition switch "OFF"
Disconnect battery (-) cable.
Refer to "Shop Manual" and remove starter relay.
Check for the continuity beteween each termianl of starter relay.
Specification : Refer to table below.

Apply 12V to terminal 85 and ground to terminal 86.
Check for continuity between terminal 30 and 87.

Is the measured value within specification?
 | ▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure. |
