Monitor GDS Data
■ DTC Inspection
1.

IG "OFF".

2.

Connect GDS.

3.

IG "ON" and engine "OFF".

4.

Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

5.

Check for any DTCs on the "Diagnostic Trouble Code(DTC)" with GDS.

6.

Erase DTC.

7.

After erase DTC Check for any DTCs again.

Is the same DTC occurred again?

▶ Go to "Current Data Inspection" procedure.

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the BSD ECU's connector or was repaired and BSD ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

■ Current Data Inspection
9.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

10.

Engine "ON".

11.

Turn on all electrical load such as headlamp, rear window defogger, and A/C.

12.

Monitor "Battery Voltage" parameter on "Current Data" with GDS.

Specification : Approx. 14.0 V

13.

Is parameter displayed within specification?

▶ Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors(and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to "Wiring Inspection" procedure.
