Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

Ignition "ON".

Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.

Is DTC status displayed as Present?

	▶ Go to "Monitor GDS Data" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

Engine "ON".

Turn the steering wheel all the way to CCW or CW and hold.

Check the "Current Data" about related DTC with GDS.

Fig.1) Turn steering wheel to C.C.W or C.W upon ignition "ON" & Engine "ON"

A : steering wheel all the way to CCW

B : steering wheel all the way to CW

Is the measured "Measured Motor Current" within specifications?

	▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or EPS ECU connector or was repaired and EPS ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Wiring Inspection" procedure.
