Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON".
Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.

Is DTC status displayed as Present?

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & Engine "ON".
Turn the steering wheel to the left or right.
Monitor the "Steering Angle Sensor" parameters on the "Current Data" With GDS.
Specification : Refer the specifications in Fig.1)
Fig.1) Turn steering wheel to C.C.W or C.W upon ignition "ON" & Engine "ON"
If parameter is displayed within specifications?
![]() | ▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or EPS ECU connector or was repaired and EPS ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Align front wheels straight.
Ignition "ON".
Perform "ASP Calibration" on "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS - Fig.1,2,3,4
Operate vehicle or system according to enable condition.
Check for "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.
Is DTC status displayed as Present?
