Ignition "OFF".

2.

Disconnect BSD switch connector.

3.

Measure resistance between Pin No. 4(signal) and Pin No. 9(ground) terminal of BSD switch. (Component Side-LHD)

4.

Measure resistance between Pin No. 7(signal) and Pin No. 2(ground) terminal of BSD switch. (Component Side-RHD)

Is the measured value normal?

▶ Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.

▶ If problem still occurs, replace BSD ECU assembly and then go to "Verification of Vechicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Substitute with a known-good BSD switch and check for proper operation.

If the problem is corrected, replace BSD switch and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
