Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

Ignition "ON".

Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.

Is DTC status displayed as Present?

	▶ Go to "Monitor GDS Data" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

Engine "ON".

Turn the steering wheel all the way to CCW or CW and hold.

Check the "Current Data" about related DTC with GDS.

Fig.1) Turn steering wheel to C.C.W or C.W upon ignition "ON" & Engine "ON"

A : steering wheel all the way to CCW

B : steering wheel all the way to CW

Is the measured "Measured Motor Current" within specifications?

	▶ Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and EPS ECU memory is not cleared yet. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Wiring Inspection" procedure.
