Measure signal waveform of MAPS and TPS together by stepping on and off the accellerator padel.
Specification: Refer to Signal Waveform & Data
Fig.1) At Acceleration
IG KEY "OFF".
Connnect CH A probe to signal terminal(Pin No.1) of TPS connector and CH B probe to signal terminal(Pin No.6) of MAPS connector.
Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
Measure signal waveform of MAPS and TPS together by stepping on and off the accellerator padel.

Does the MAPS operate properly? (Check variation)
 | ▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM/PCM’s connector or was repaired and ECM/PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure. |
