Component Inspection
■ Perform PCSV Actuation Test
1.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".

3.

Perform "Actuation Test" for PCSV.

■ Inspect PCSV
4.

IG Key "OFF".

5.

Disconnect PCSV connector.

6.

Measure resistance between power and control terminal of the PCSV. (Component Side)

Specification : Approx 16.0 [20°C(68 °F)]

7.

Is the measured Value within specification?

▶ Go to "Check injector for normal operation" as follows.

▶ Replace it, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

■ Perform Injector Actuation Test
8.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

9.

IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".

10.

Perform "Actuation Test" for Injector.

11.

Check its RPM decrease when doing the injector's actuation test.

12.

Is there any cylinder with no change in RPM or only a small change in RPM?

▶ Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.

▶ If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the Injector and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
