DTC Description

When abnormal sensor signal voltage is detected under enable condition, ECM sets DTC P0130 and tuns the MIL on.

DTC Detecting Condition

Item

Detecting Condition

Possible Cause

DTC Strategy

Rationality check

1.

Poor connector connection

2.

Short/open in upstream O2 sensor signal circuit

3.

Faulty upstream O2 sensor

General Enable

Condition

Fuel feedback control active

Battery voltage is higher than 11V

Exhaust gas temperature is at between 400℃(752℉) and 800℃(1472℉)

No injector error

No upstream O2 sensor heater error

Enable

Condition

Case 1

Downstream O2 sensor voltage is higher than 0.6V

Case 2

Threshold

Value

Case 1

Upstream O2 sensor voltage is at between 0.06V and 0.4V

Case 2

Upstream O2 sensor voltage is at between 0.06V and 1.15V

Case 3

frequency of heater pulse coupling to sensor signal is more than 5 times per every 10 heating pulses
