Component Inspection
1.

Ignition "OFF".

2.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

3.

Ignition "ON".

4.

Perform "Shift Control Solenoid Valve C(35R/C)" in "Actuation Test" with GDS.

5.

Monitor "Shift Control Solenoid Valve C(35R/C)" parameter in "Current Data" with GDS.

Specification : Refer to Figure below

6.

Is displayed parameter within specification?

▶ Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to next procedure.

7.

Ignition "OFF".

8.

Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.

9.

Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect TCU connector.

10.

Measure resistance between Pin No. 34 (Power) terminal and Pin No. 48 (Signal) terminal of TCU harness connector.

Specification : Approx. 5.4 Ω

11.

Is measured value within specification?

▶ Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.

▶ If problem still occurs, replace TCU and then go to "Verification of Vechicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.

▶ If problem still occurs, replace Shift Control Solenoid Valve C(35R/C) and then go to "Verification of Vechicle Repair" procedure.
