Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.

Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.

Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

Has a problem been found?

	▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Select 1 Position Sensor Power Circuit Inspection" procedure.

Ignition "OFF"

Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect Gate Select Actuator connector.

Ignition "ON"

Measure voltage between Pin No. 3 (power) terminal of Gate Select Actuator harness conenctor and chassis ground.

Is measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Input speed sensor Power Circuit Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Repair open or short in power circuit between Gate Select Actuator and TCM and then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.

Ignition "OFF"

Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect input speed sensor connector.

Ignition "ON"

Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (Power) terminal of input speed sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

Is measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Clutch Motor Hall Sensor Power Circuit Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Repair open or short in power circuit between input speed sensor and TCM and then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.

Ignition "OFF"

Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect Clutch Actuator connector.

Ignition "ON"

Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (power) terminal of Clutch Actuator harness conenctor and chassis ground.

Is measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Shift Motor Hall Sensor Power Circuit Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Repair open or short in power circuit between Clutch Actuator and TCM and then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.

Ignition "OFF"

Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect Gear Shift Actuator connector.

Ignition "ON"

Measure voltage between Pin No. 3 (power) terminal of Gear Shift Actuator harness conenctor and chassis ground.

Is measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Repair open or short in power circuit between Clutch Actuator and TCM and then go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
