Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery (-) cable.

Remove the air cleaner assembly.

(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (A).

Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor (B) after loosening it.
