Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.

Remove the air cleaner.

(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

Remove the battery.

(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")

Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (A).

Lift the vehicle.

Remove the CKP sensor after removing the installation bolt (A).
