Remove the rear oil seal (A).
Remove the automatic Transaxle.
(Refer to Manual Transaxle System - "Automatic Transaxle")
Remove the manual transaxle.
(Refer to Manual Transaxle System - "Manual Transaxle")
Automatic transaxle : Remove the drive plate.
(Refer to Cylinder Block - "Drive Plate")
Manual transaxle : Remove the flywheel.
(Refer to Cylinder Block - "Flywheel")
Remove the rear oil seal (A).
1. Install a new rear oil seal.
Apply engine oil on the edge of new oil seal.
Using SST (09231-H1100, 09214-03100) and a hammer, tap in the oil seal (A) until SST surface is flush with the cylinder block. At this time, from the cylinder block surface is 1mm (0.039 in)
Install the other parts reverse order of removal.
