Using the SST (09214-03100, 09231-H1100) and a plastic hammer, tap in a new oil seal (A) until SST surface is flush with the cylinder block.
The depth of the oil seal (A) from the cylinder block surface should be 0.2 ~ 0.8 mm (0.0079 - 0.0315 in.).

Before assembling oil seal, the hardened sealant or hazardous material on the boundary area between cylinder block and ladder frame must be removed.
●
Apply engine oil to a new oil seal lip.
●
Install the oil seal by pressing it into the correct direction and be careful not to damage it.
