Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A).
Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine And Transmission Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")
Drain the coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
Remove the air duct.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "Air Cleaner")
Remove the front bumper.
(Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")
Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A).
Disconnect the radiator lower hose (A).
Disconnect the water pipe hose (A) and then remove the water pipe (B) from the cooling fan assembly.
Remove the air guard (A).
Tightening torque :
3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)

Disconnect the hood switch connector (A).
Disconnect the hood latch release handle cable (A).
Remove the radiator upper member assembly (A).
Tightening torque :
21.6 ~ 26.5 N.m (2.2 ~ 2.7 kgf.m, 16.0 ~ 19.5 lb-ft)
Remove the A/C pipe mounting bracket bolt (A).
Tightening torque :
6.9 ~ 10.8 N.m (0.7 ~ 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 ~ 8.0 lb-ft)
Separate the condenser from the radiator (A) and then pull the radiator (A) upward and remove it from engine room.
Remove the cooling fan assembly (A) from the radiator (B).
Tightening torque :
4.9 ~ 7.9 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.7 lb-ft)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Fill the radiator with coolant.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
Start engine and check for leaks.
Remove the radiator cap, wet its seal with engine coolant, and then install it to a pressure tester.
Apply a pressure of 93.2 ~ 122.6 kPa (0.95 ~ 1.25 kg/cm², 13.51 ~ 17.78 psi).
Check for a drop in pressure.
If the pressure drops, replace the cap.
Wait until engine is cool, then carefully remove the radiator cap.
Fill the radiator with engine coolant, then install the pressure tester on the filler neck.
Inspect for engine coolant leaks and a drop in pressure.
In case of coolant leakage or pressure drop, replace the part.
