Remove the PCSV (D) by loosening the mounting bolt (C).
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the PCSV connector.
Measure resistance between the PCSV terminals 1 and 2.
Check that the resistance is within the specification.
Specification: 22.0-26.0 [20 ℃(68 ℉)]
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Disconnect the purge control solenoid valve connector (A).
Disconnect the vapor hoses (B) from the purge control solenoid valve.
Remove the PCSV (D) by loosening the mounting bolt (C).
Install the component to the specified torques.
Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect before installing.
Keep foreign materials away from the valve.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Purge control solenoid valve bracket mounting bolt:
9.8-11.8 N.m (1.0-1.2 kgf.m, 7.2-8.7 lb-ft)
