Remove the EGR valve assembly (A).
Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
Loosen the drain plug, and drain the engine coolant.
Disconnect the heater hose.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Heater Hose")
Disconnect Electric EGR control valve connector.
(U-II 1.4L : Refer to Fuel System - "Electric EGR Control Valve")
(U-II 1.6L : Refer to Fuel System - "Electric EGR Control Valve")
Remove the EGR valve assembly (A).
Remove the water hose (A).
Disconnect the EGR cooler outlet pipe (A) from the EGR cooler.
Tightening torque:
19.6 ~ 23.5 N.m (2.0 ~ 2.4kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 17.4 lb-ft)
Remove the EGR cooler pipe (A).
Tightening torque :
21.6 ~ 27.5N.m (2.2 ~ 2.8kgf.m, 15.9 ~ 20.3lb-ft)
Tightening torque :
29.4 ~ 34.3N.m (3.0 ~ 3.5kgf.m, 21.7 ~ 25.3lb-ft)
Remove the EGR cooler (A).
Tightening torque :
21.6 ~ 27.5N.m (2.2 ~ 2.8kgf.m, 15.9 ~ 20.3lb-ft)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
