ignition Switch "OFF"
Connect Data Link Connector(DLC) to GDS.
Ingnition Switch "ON" & engin "OFF"
Perform "Boost Pressure Actuator 5%" and "Boost Pressure Actuator 95%" of "Actuation Test" with GDS.
Check "VGT Actuator" of "Current Data" with GDS.

Is the parameter normal as shown above?

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure. |

Ignition Switch "OFF"
Disconnect battery (-) cable.
Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect VGT control solenoid valve connector.
Measure resistance between Pin No. 1(Control) and Pin No. 2(Power) of VGT control solenoid valve(Part side).
Specification : Approx 14.7 ~ 16.1 Ω (Approx. 20℃)
Is the measured value within spcification?
