Check Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAFS) as below:
- Check sensor installation.
- Check corrosion, contamination or damage.
- Aircleaner wet or stuck.
- Internal cylinder of MAFS stuck or transform by foreign material.
Check leakage of intake system and inter-cooler system.
have any problem been found?

![]() | ▶ Go to "Electric Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EEGR) Control Valve Inspection" procedure. |
When install a part, tighten it within specification.
If drop down the part, check part's operating condition whether it is damaged or not.
Be careful not to damage the sensing element
After replacing mass air flow sensor (MAFS), perform "Component Change Routine". Otherwise, problem that performance or emission concerned can be occured from replacing the part.
Ignition switch "OFF"
Disconnect battery (-) cable.
Refer to "Shop Manual"and remove the electric exhaust gas recirculation (EEGR) control valve connector.
Check foreing material on the electric exhaust gas recirculation (EEGR) control valve.
Check stuck on the electric exhaust gas recirculation (EEGR) control valve.
Have any problem been found?
