Remove the center cover (A) after removing bolts.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the engine cover.
Remove the center cover (A) after removing bolts.
Remove the ignition coil (A).
When removing the ignition coil connector, pull the lock pin (A) and push the clip (B).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Center cover mounting bolts:
4.9 ~ 7.8 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.8 Ib-ft)
Ignition coil mounting bolts:
9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 Ib-ft)
Measure the primary coil resistance between terminals (+) and (-).
Standard value: 0.75Ω ± 15%
