Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

2.

Loosen the alternator mounting bolts (A) and then turn the adjusting bolt (B) counterclockwise to loosen the drive belt tension.

Tightening torque

M8 bolt :

19.6 ~ 26.5 Nm (2.0 ~ 2.7 kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 19.5 Ib-ft)

M10 bolt :

29.4 ~ 41.2 Nm (3.0 ~ 4.2 kgf.m, 21.7 ~ 30.4 Ib-ft)

Remove the drive belt (A).

[Without A/C]

4.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
