Remove the air filter.
Check that the air filter is excessively dirty.
If the air filter is excessively dirty, replace the air cleaner element.
If cleaning the air cleaner element, blow compressed air as shown in the illustration to clean it.
Be careful with the direction of the compressed air on the air cleaner.
Reinstall the air filter.
Open the air cleaner cover by unhooking the clamps.
Replace the air cleaner element (A) with a new one.
When removing the air cleaner element, be careful that dust or dirt does not enter the air intake, or damage may result.
If there are foreign substances inside the air cleaner assembly, wipe the inside of the air cleaner assembly and then replace the air cleaner element.
Close the service cover by hooking the clamps.
