Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

IG "OFF" & Disconnect Alternator connector.
IG "ON".
Measure voltage between Pin No.1(COM) terminal of Alternator harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure voltage between Pin No.3(FR) terminal of Alternator harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification :
FR - Approx 12V
COM - Approx 2.65V(PWM Signal)
IG "OFF" & Disconnect PCM connector.
Measure resistance between Pin No. 3(FR) terminal of Alternator harness connector and B+.
Specification : ∞
Is the measured Value within specification?
