Component Inspection
1.

IG "OFF".

2.

Ignition "ON".

3.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

4.

Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.

5.

Clear all DTCs in the system with GDS.

6.

Operate TCS/ESC(ESP) OFF Switch.

7.

Check for TCS/ESC(ESP) OFF Lamp is turned "ON" on Instrumental Cluster.

8.

Is TCS/ESC(ESP) OFF Lamp turned "ON"?

▶ Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors(and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.

▶ If problem still occurs, replace TCS/ESC(ESP) Switch and then go to "Verification of Vechicle Repair" procedure.
