Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

Ignition "ON"

Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.

Is DTC status displayed as Present?

▶ Go to "Monitor GDS Data" procedure.

▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedue.

■ Check DTC
1.

Perform DTC check with GDS for SPAS

2.

Confirm that there is/are DTC related CAN communication between SPAS and Each Control Unit.

3.

If there is/are DTC related CAN communication for a certain unit(Module), inspect this/these DTC first.

4.

Erase DTC after Inspection and Repair.

5.

Is it possible to erase DTC?

▶ Thoroughly check connectors of each Unit which have DTC related CAN communication for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage in the SPAS ECU. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to "Wiring Inspection" procedure.
