The AHLS(Auto Headlamp Leveling System) provides the best visibility by adjusting vertical direction of the headlamp. It consists of AHLS(Auto Headlamp Leveling System) ECU, Height Sensor, Linkage and Head Lamp Leveling actuator. The AHLS(Auto Headlamp Leveling System) ECU uses the vehicle speed as a compensation factor for the actuator control. For example, when the vehicle speed is low, the head lamp leveling actuator responds slowly and the compensation time slows. On the other hand, when the vehicle speed is high, the head lamp leveling actuator responds quickly and the compensation time increases.
