The ECM/PCM assumes the power circuit is open and sets DTC P2243 when the upstream O2 sensor is lower than 0.2V or higher than 4.7V and the internal resistance gets high.
Item | Detecting Condition | Possible Cause |
DTC Strategy |
•
Electrical check | 1. Poor connection 2. Open or short power/ground in signal circuit 3. HO2S(S1) |
Enable Conditions |
•
Sensor pump current valid (same as the conditions of P0133)
•
11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value |
•
P0135 detection and Upstream O2 sensor voltage < 0.2V for 5sec during internal test (turn off Ri oscillator and move lambda set point)
Diagnostic Time |
•
15sec | |
MIL On Condition |
•
2 driving cycles |
