IG KEY "OFF"

Disconnect Cold Start Fuel Pump Relay.

3.

Measure the resistance between power from battery terminal and power to Cold Start Fuel Pump Relay terminal of Cold Start Fuel Pump Relay (component side).

4.

Measure the resistance between Power from main relay terminal and control terminal of fuel pump relay (component side).

Specification

3~4	Approx 70 ~ 120 Ω

Is the measured resistance within specification?

	▶ Go to "Perform FFV Actuation Test" procedure.
	▶ If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, Replace Cold Start Fuel Pump Relay and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

6.

Check operation of FFV

(1)

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

(2)

IG KEY "ON" & ENG "ON".

(3)

Perform "Actuation Test" for FFV.

Has a problem been found?

	▶ If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, Replace FFV and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM/PCM’s connector or was repaired and ECM/PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
