Monitor DTC Status

1.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

Ignition "ON"

3.

Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" with GDS.

4.

Is DTC status displayed as Present?

	▶ Go to "Monitor GDS Data" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Monitor GDS Data

1.

Connect Data Link Connector(DLC) to GDS.

2.

IG "ON"

3.

Select vehicle model, year and engine type.

4.

Select "A/T" system. (1)

5.

Select "Fault Code Searching" (2)

Specification : Refer to Fig. below

6.

Check DTC of selected sysem.

7.

Have any DTC been found from the selected sysem?

	▶ Repair faulty system and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM’s connector or was repaired and ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
