For electric control variable swash plate compressor, the oblique angle of swash plate is controlled by ECV(Electric Control Valve) control. When ECV id Off, the oblique angle of swash plate operates in 0 ˚ (vertical). Therefore, the coolant circulation is stopped that is, compressor operation is off.

As a result, it is not required to control compressor On/Off using magnetic clutch.
