Be careful not to damage fuel line when replacing the fuel line.
Common Rail Fuel Injection System operates with extremely high pressure (approximately 1,600bar), so never perform any work on injection system with engine running or within 30 seconds after the engine stops.
Keep cleanly the parts and the working area.
Pay attention to a foreign substance.
Just before installing injector, tube or hose, remove the protect-cap attached on them.
Do not remove injector except for special case.
When installing High Pressure Fuel Pipe
Do not use again the used high pressure fuel pipe.
Install the flange nut correctly.
[Low Pressure Fuel Line (Engine, Fuel Filter ↔ Fuel Tank]
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the fuel tank.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - " Fuel Tank")
Disconnect the low pressure return line quick-connector (A).
Disconnect the low pressure fuel feed line quick-connector (A) from the fuel filter.
Lift the vehicle.
Remove the under cover LH (A).
Remove the under cover RH (A).
Remove the front, center and rear muffler.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Muffler")
Remove the rear heat protecter (A).
Remove the front heat protecter (A).
